Since January 1, 2020, electronic cash register systems must have a certified technical security device (TSE). But what is TSE anyway?
A TSE is a security device for signing receipts and storing digital records in accordance with legal requirements. Possible storage media include: B. microSD cards, USB sticks or cloud solutions. There are also TSEs that can be used by multiple POS systems in a local network. If you do not protect a recording system or do not protect it properly with a TSE, the law stipulates a fine of €25,000.
